In this workshop, you will learn the effects of stress, how the nervous system works to protect you, but why it's not effective in modern times. And learn techniques that have been clinically proven to re-train our nervous systems to rest. Learn yoga's two pronged approach to dealing with stress in the this workshop. Barre is a dynamic, effective and fun workout based on movements in dance, Pilates and yoga. Learn correct exercise alignment, choreography, biomechaniques, effective cueing, classroom management, and safe and powerful teaching techniques in this weekend immersion teacher training. We will also cover/review basic anatomy and physiology, learn how to use music to create safe and fun barre classes that focus on increasing strength, flexibility, stamina, dynamic stability and mindful movement.
This program is geared for everyone. You do not have need to be a current yoga or Pilates teacher. No dance experience required. Bring a willingness to learn and have fun!
Upon completion, students will have the skills to be able to teach various barre fomats including MPower classic barre & MPower cardio barre and receive their certification once your final video has been submitted and approved.
